Das 4 Zoll große Touchscreen des Samsung I9000 Galaxy S ist mit AMOLED ausgestattet.

Das I9000 Galaxy hat die aktuelle Android-Version 2.1 und die von Samsung entwickelte Oberfläche TouchWiz in Version 3.0. Zum Einsatz kommt ein leistungsstarker 1-GHz-Prozessor und der WLAN-n-Standard, HSUPA, sowie Bluetooth. Die eingebaute 5-Megapixel-Kamera nimmt Videos in HD auf.

HTC Evo 4G mit Android 2.1 und WiMAX

HTC hat zusammen mit Sprint ein Android-Smartphone mit WiMAX-Unterstützung und HDMI-Ausgang angekündigt, das HTC Evo 4G, das in den USA erscheinen soll.

Das HTC Evo 4G hat einen 4,3 Zoll großen, kapazitiven und multitouch-fähigen Touchscreen auf dem sich Filme und Videos dank aufklappbarem Aufsteller besonders gut betrachten lassen.
Es soll exklusiv bei Sprint in den USA erscheinen.

The third release of the Android Native Development Kit (NDK) is now available for download from the Android developer site.

It can be used to target devices running Android 1.5 and higher. In addition to a few bug fixes and improvements, this release includes the following new features:

Toolchain improvement

The toolchain binaries have been refreshed for this release with GCC 4.4.0, which should generate slightly more compact and efficient machine code than the previous one (4.2.1).
